Last winter, we featured in our gallery the fine-art photography of well known wild life photographer Robert McGouey.
Bob's life-long love of photography has taken him from coast to coast searching out that unforgettable, once in a lifetime image.
Bob was born and raised in rural New Brunswick on Canada's east coast and this is where his passion for creating and capturing that special moment began. Adventure took him to the west and Bob now resides in the Alberta foothills just a stones throw from the magnificent Rocky Mountains and the world renowned Jasper National Park.
"Wild critters" play a major part in Bob's photo collections. "The unique animal bonds that are forged while capturing moments in their lives make magical memories that can never be forgotten", says Bob.
Working in digital 35 millmeter format or behind a view camers, Bob has become one of the most sought after commercial photographers in western Canada. His images have been used for product advertising, appeared in annual reports, travel tourism brochures, magazines, on television, on postcards, and on calendars. More recently Bob has selected certain special images suitable for printing in larger sizes as giclee prints or as large format photographs suitable for framing. A collection of these fine art images are on display and available for purchase at Prints Galore. All images are personally signed by the artist.
